Spinal Decompression now available
Chattanooga Triton DTS

New to the Langley Sports Medicine Clinic, the Chattanooga Triton traction device provides traction and mobilization of skeletal structures and skeletal muscles. More advanced than the "classic" traction found at most rehabilitation facilities in the Langley area, the Triton uses pull patterns that are similar to those found on the "Spinal Decompression" units in specialty facilities. The Triton traction device may be used to relieve peripheral radiation/sciatica and pain associated with:
-
Protruding discs Bulging discs Herniated discs Degenerative disc disease Posterior facet syndrome Acute facet problems Radicular pain Prolapsed discs Hypomobility Spinal root impingement Degenerative joint disease Facet syndrome Compression fractures Joint pain Discogenic pain
The physiotherapists and chiropractors at Langley Sports Medicine use the Triton system as both a stand-alone treatment for acute/flared back pain sufferers, as well as an integrated approach for chronic/long term back pain sufferers.
Triton traction devices achieve positive effects through decompression of intervertebral discs, that is, unloading due to distraction and positioning. The Triton traction device provides a treatment in static, intermittent, progressive, regressive and cycling distraction forces to relieve pressures on structures that may be causing pain of skeletal or muscular origin (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and in the near future, hip). Therapeutic distraction can be applied in a variety of programmable patterns, cycles and functions. 5 unique DTS pull patterns deliver pull forces that closely mimic the hand-delivered feel clinicians provide, and add gradient, progressive range of motion and oscillations
